A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.

I made banana bread and pizza yesterday, and my little one wanted so badly to help with everything, but even though I let her do as much as she could, she’s still a bit too young. So flour and water and dough went everywhere! Looks like your boys are well on their way to being great helpers!

Did you change your blog?
i did! do you like it? they are still only relatively good helpers… my younger son has a bit more interest in the longevity of the tasks… but its fun! and good for you for allowing a mess!
Love seeing little ones baking! What a lovely moment!
Our moment this week is a fence painting moment. We have *a lot* of picket fence that is in desperate need of painting! It’s all hands on deck for this project so we can get it done before winter arrives!

My moment…http://frontfortyfarm.blogspot.com/2013/09/this-moment_20.html
There is so much to look t in this photo, it’s bursting with life and yet still calm. The neighbor children and I made bread yesterday because it was storming. I wish I had thought to grab the camera bow, Be well. http://appleshoe.blogspot.com/2013/09/this-moment_20.html
I like the new look and I really adore the photo this week! It’s never too early to start bread making. Your boys will be experts soon enough. This moment may be worth framing. The expressions of interest and effort are perfectly captured. 🙂
Yummy! Did they like snacking on the dough? That’s always my favorite part of baking 🙂
A lovely photo! I love seeing what’s before the boys and then all the way through to the outdoors. We made pizza dough last week for the first time in a long time, it’s been too hot to do any oven cooking.
I found your blog a long time ago, maybe when your older was your younger boy’s age (?) and am glad to have found it again!
oh thank you! we love the open layout of this house! i am glad you’re glad you found the blog! thats a wonderful compliment.
Cute helpers!
