We saved a little sunshine and color for crafting in the darker months.  The fabric is wool flannel that I followed the directions out of The Natural Modern Dyer to create this beautiful design.  The boys enjoyed collecting and placing the flowers and of course seeing the results!  I have intentions of little hats and knitting needle bags for the boys.  The bottom hat is for the little one we are patiently waiting for.  It is dyed with Solidago and then stitched up with a sunshine!  It is really tiny, but I hoping it will fit her at least for a month.
