One year later… Oh what a difference a year makes! I would sum up the fair as a huge success.  Those little birds (Modern Game for anyone who is interested) absolutely earn their keep- this year they helped the boys bring home a bag of feed, 25 dollars in cash, two beautiful rosettes and endless amounts of pride.

Other highlights this year were volunteering in floral hall demonstrating different fiber arts and earning free ride passes, scooping ice cream for 4H, bumper cars, being on the front page of the Valley News, getting photos taken for the Boston Globe, Arlo winning a bike, Rowan winning best in show for a needle felted gnome, Miles winning best in show for junior poultry and a pie, and taking our cousin to the fair!  It was an amazing and exhausting weekend and we can’t wait until next year already.
